Iranian officials have accused Israel of being behind Monday’s killing of one nuclear scientist, an attack on another and two professors’ wives. The state-run FARS news agency is reporting that the two professors were targeted in different locations by men traveling on motorcycles. Calling the attackers “agents of the Zionist regime,” FARS says Dr. Majid Shahriari, a professor of nuclear engineering at Shahid Beheshti University in northern Tehran was killed and his wife wounded; while Dr. Fereydoon Abbasi, a researcher for the defense ministry, and his wife were injured.
