Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has fired missiles into eastern Syria, claiming it targeted terrorist groups responsible for attacks in Tehran last week that left 18 dead. According to the Revolutionary Guard website, medium range ground-to-ground missiles were used, the first time the weapon was fired in combat since the end of the 1988 revolution. ISIS has taken credit for an attack in Tehran at the parliament and at the shrine to Ayatollah Khomeini killing 18 and wounding more than 50.
