Iran to File Cases in its Courts against the U.S. to Start International Proceedings

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has ordered his legal officers to file lawsuits in the Iranian courts against the Americans responsible for imposing sanctions on Iran. According to experts, once the judgments are handed down, the Iranian legal teams will move to bring war crimes actions against them in the International Criminal Court at The Hague. In a televised speech, Rouhani insisted that the American actions constitute “crimes against humanity.” According to Rouhani, the motive behind the re-imposition of sanctions that were lifted by President Obama is to overthrow the regime and replace it with a government compatible with Washington.
