Iranian legislators are expected to be among the passengers when a Gaza blockade-running ship sails from Lebanon according to the ISNA news agency, which quoted a member of the Iranian parliament’s national security and foreign policy committee. The group had planned to be aboard a ship embarking from Iran, but plans were cancelled amid Israeli warnings that it would be intercepted. The lawmakers were given the okay to ride the Lebanese boat by the Iranian Parliament’s Speaker Ali Larijani. Israel has warned that the blockade remains in effect and has warned it will not allow ships to reach the Gaza port.
