A Syrian monitoring group said that ISIS attacks had killed at least 30 Syrian army soldiers in an attack on an oil and gas field in Syria. The attack came as a group o Iraqi Kurdish peshmerga troops arrived in Turkey on their way to Syria. They are coming to help their Syrian Kurdish brethren fight ISIS. It was another example of how ISIS is affecting the entire region and changing alliances. The 150 fighters are headed for Kobani along the Syrian-Turkish border where heavy battles between ISIS and Kurdish forces have been waged for more than a month.
