The Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development, once the largest Islamic charity serving the Middle East, but accused by U.S. prosecutors of aiding Hamas terrorists instead, has won a round in court. The presiding judge has ruled as non-admissible evidence seized by Israeli army soldiers because of The defendants questions over how the soldiers handled the exhibits. The significance of the ruling is not clear, but jurors will not be allowed to see 12 documents. Other evidence obtained by soldiers was allowed to be entered in the case. Charges include aiding a terrorist group, conspiracy and money laundering.
