Islamic State “Kill List” Targets 1700 US citizens

US Department of Homeland Security officials briefed American Jewish leaders about the possible threat of terrorism to Jewish leaders and to synagogues. The meeting came after the Islamic State released a new “kill list”, which included members of synagogues and churches among 1700 named people. Last month, the website Vocativ reported a list published online which included 8000 Americans, among them Hollywood celebrities and executives from Silicon Valley. The Secure Community Network, the security arm of the national Jewish community, said that the list appeared to be directed at “lone-wolf” supporters of Islamic State who might be inspired to carry out attacks.
