Tehran claimed on Sunday that it shot down an Israeli drone apparently on a surveillance mission above the Natanz nuclear facility. As matter of policy, Jerusalem does not comment on such reports. According to the Iranians, the drone, which was to be “of the stealth, radar-evasive type,” was shot down by a ground-to-air missile before it could reach the site. Natanz is where uranium enrichment activities are carried out. It’s located about 200 south of Tehran.
