Israeli Cyclists Land a Superstar

Israel’s Start-Up Nation cycling team received a massive boost this week with news that four-time Tour de France titlist, British cycling legend Chris Froome will be wearing the blue and white. The most decorated road cyclist in UK history announced he will be joining the team and is set to “achieve great things together” with his Israeli teammates. Considered by many to be the premier cyclist of his generation, Froome has two Olympic bronze medals. His teammates are reportedly excited despite their new superstar’s ongoing recuperation from an accident that cost him a year of competition. Froome will ride with the ISN team in the prestigious Giro d’Italia race, whenever sporting events resume after the coronavirus interruptions.
