The Israeli military dropped leaflets Sunday over the southeastern Lebanese village of Wazzani and surrounding areas, urging residents to evacuate, according to Lebanese military sources. The leaflets, signed by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), warned that Hezbollah was using the area for rocket fire. Residents were instructed to leave and move north of Khiam by 4 p.m., with a stark warning that anyone remaining would be considered a combatant.

At the same time, Israeli forces launched air raids and artillery strikes on several towns in southern Lebanon, injuring four people in Adaisseh. Military sources said that earlier in the day, Hezbollah had fired 40 Katyusha rockets and drones into northern Israel, further escalating tensions. These border clashes have intensified since October 8, following Hezbollah’s rocket strikes in solidarity with Hamas’ attacks on Israel.
