Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s wife, Sara, became the center of attention on Sunday evening, stealing the spotlight from her husband’s historic trip to Ukraine. But en route to the meeting, Mrs. Netanyahu apparently grew livid that the airplane’s captain failed to welcome her with a greeting over the plane’s public announcement system and, as it was described, she sought to storm the flight deck until she was restrained by the security entourage accompanying the Netanyahus. But that was not the whole story. After partaking in a Ukranian tradition in which the visitors were given bread, Mrs. Netanyahu offended her hosts when seen to be discarding the bread. The Prime Minister’s Office issued a statement denying the reported series of events.
