Jordan has agreed to allow aid to reach more than 100,000 Syrians who are stranded on the border with Jordan to receive a one-time delivery of international aid. Jordan closed the border to both the Syrians and aid agencies after a suicide bomber from Islamic State killed seven soldiers near the makeshift refugee camp. The refugees, including many women and children, are caught in a no-man’s land between Jordan and Syria. Jordan has already absorbed hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees and says it cannot handle any more.
