Journalists Rally For Release Of BBC Captive In Gaza

More than 100 Gaza-based journalists and politicians rallied in Gaza City on Sunday demonstrating for the release of BBC correspondent Alan Johnston who was kidnapped two weeks ago. Johnston, who is the only correspondent from a major international news organization who actually lives in Gaza, was taken as he was returning to his Gaza City home. No group has taken responsibility for the kidnapping. Last week, Palestinian journalists staged a one-day strike to protest Johnston‘s abduction.
