Unless Turkey is pressured by the international community and a 2,000-man force is deployed to close the holes in the Syria-Turkey border, thousands of veteran ISIS killers will return to their countries of origin along with the murder and mayhem that is the ISIS trademark. The message was delivered by Illham Ahmed, a Kurdish leader and member of the Syrian Democratic Council, who also placed much of the blame squarely on the Trump administration for the arbitrary way it withdrew from northeast Syria and the Turkish offensive the abrupt American pullout permitted. Ahmed told the Reuters news agency that Europe must halt the sale of arms to Turkey.
