Transportation apps including Uber and others like it are no able to operate in Egypt. President Abdel Fatteh Al-Sisi on Sunday signed legislation that set forth the relative laws after an appellate court overturned the authority – previously invoked – that rescinded all of the licenses already issued. The two leading companies in the business, Uber and Careem, both praised the new legislation and its legal requirements.
