Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Al-Hariri kicked-off a three-day visit to Tehran on Saturday amid expectations that the United Nations Special Tribunal Lebanon (STL) will shortly hand down indictments of Hizbullah operatives in the case of the 2005 assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Al-Hariri – Saad’s father. The visit is seen as a public show of support for the Iranian-Syrian proxy terror group that has threatened violence once the indictments are handed-down. A growing number of observers are raising the possibility of a Hizbullah coup if its reaction to the SLT findings sufficiently de-stabilizes the government.
