Lone-Wolf Killer Struck Despite Parents’ Warning and Botched Security Check

The 16-year old ‘lone wolf’ terrorist who stabbed and killed an Israeli man on Sunday struck despite his mother’s warning to officials and a botched security check. It is being reported in local media that security guards at the shopping mall outside of which the attack took place refused to allow Khalil Jabarin to enter the premises but when the bag he was carrying was checked by a guard – as all bags are in Israel — the guard failed to discover Jabarin’s 8-inch knife. Security cameras showed the attacker lingering behind his victim for some time before he took out his weapon and stabbed Ari Fuld. Fuld, who was armed, pursued his attacker, and shot Jabarin at the same time another civilian licensed to carry a gun also shot him. The Media Line’s journalists in Ramallah were told that Jabarin’s mother tried to alert Israeli and Palestinian security personnel that her son was looking to kill someone after a spat with his parents over attending school. Palestinian Authorities are denying the report.
