Since 2012, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving has been designated “GivingTuesday,” a day established by a movement to create an international day of charitable giving at the beginning of the Christmas and holiday season.
We’d like to ask that you kick-off your season of giving with a generous contribution to The Media Line. We’re not only the American news agency covering the Middle East, but many tell us we’re the last line of defense in journalism’s fight to survive as we know it. As part of our mandate for education, The Media Line mentors the next generation of journalists and policy writers as part of our Press and Policy Student Program. We already have 16 colleges and universities on-board – signed and awarding academic credit to their participants – and we’ll surpass 20 shortly.
