Mash’al Tells British Newspaper Anti-Israel Violence Will Continue

Hamas’ leader-in-exile, Khalid Mash’al, told a British newspaper on Tuesday that violence against Israeli targets would continue regardless of whether they were effective or not. Speaking to The Guardian, Mash’al said that, "The Palestinians are steadfast and there are many ways of resisting according to opportunities and conditions." Regarding the internecine warfare between Hamas and Fatah, Mash’al blamed the United States and Israel, saying that, "negative foreign intervention, especially by the U.S. and Israel, is responsible for these internal conflicts." According to the paper, Mash’al warned that the international boycott of the Hamas-led government would "lead to an explosion that will be in the face of the Israeli occupation. The damage will affect the stability of the entire region."
