More Deadly Toys from Hamas

Hamas officials have apparently decided to return to the toy chest to find another weapon as effective as the so-called “terror kites” that have caused so much damage to Israeli property during weekly riots along the Israel-Gaza Strip border since March. Seemingly in line with the irony of a child’s toy proving to be one of the most difficult of weapons to defeat, a model airplane was used to deliver an explosive payload from Gaza into Israeli territory on Sunday. The toy made of Styrofoam with lift provided by a large cluster of helium balloons landed in a field where its lethal payload was neutralized by police sappers with no injuries or damage reported. In retaliation, the Israeli military sent an attach helicopter into action. The Iron Dome system also intercepted a missile from Gaza.  Recently, another balloon-propelled explosive device landed in close proximity to a kindergarten.
