Palestinian rockets continue to land inside Israel, the latest barrage hitting the southern town Sderot, the most frequent of Israeli targets. Two residents were lightly wounded by shrapnel from the exploding missiles. In addition to the six rockets fired at Sderot, nine other Qassams landed in the western Negev region, one in the yard of a home on a kibbutz (collective community). The rockets damaged some buildings but caused no personal injuries. Also on Wednesday, a man working in the fields of an Israeli farm was lightly wounded after being shot at by Palestinians from inside the Gaza Strip.
