At least four Lebanese soldiers were killed on Friday in gun battles with members of Fatah Al-Islam holed up in the Nahr Al-Barid refugee camp close to Tripoli in northern Lebanon. Around 150 people have died in fighting in and around the camp, according to eyewitnesses, although it is difficult the ascertain an exact number of fighters in the camp who have lost their lives. Fatah Al-Islam claims to be affiliated with Al-Qa’ida.
