Netanyahu’s Party Seeks to Use Arab List against Opponent

As March 2^nd draws near – the date Israelis will go to the polls for a third shot at forming a government – the two leading parties are believed to have picked the 120-man Knesset base clean and are now seeking out-of-the-box ways to win enough seats in parliament to stave off a claim that the other party can find seats to form a government. Netanyahu’s Likud wants the nation to believe Benny Gantz’s Blue and White bloc can do so only with a successful effort to bring the Arab List on board. Some are calling it racism while others find it to be undemocratic, but Netanyahu the campaigner is on the trail of pulling out what is shaping up to be the race of his political life.
