New Fighting in Libya Claims More Than 70 Lives

Mu’amar Al-Qaddafi is gone, but the fighting lingers on. Reports from Libya indicate new battles are being fought between the National Transitional Council’s (NTC) forces and local militias around the country. Much of the fighting is with tribes that claim discrimination on the part of the Arabs who are most prevalent within the government. In return, tribes are accused of illegal activity such as the smuggling of immigrants from African nations.
