Police spokesman Mickey Rosenfeld told The Media Line that ten cars were damaged in the Arab neighborhood of Beit Safafa in southern Jerusalem early today. Car tires were slashed and “death to the Arabs” as well as the words “price tag” were sprayed on walls nearby. That’s a slogan used by some Jewish extremist to protest what they see as Israeli concessions to the Palestinians. Rosenfeld described it quote another criminal incident with nationalist motives and said police are searching for suspects. Previous attacks have targeted churches, mosques and property belonging to dovish Israelis. Israeli officials across the board have condemned the action but few arrests have been made.
