It is understood there were no survivors in Friday’s plane crash at Isparta in Turkey. There were 49 passengers and seven crew on board the McDonell Douglas MD-83, which was operated by Atlasjet. Investigators are trying to ascertain why the plane crashed in the early hours, with poor weather conditions already ruled out by the company. The aircraft was making its way from Turkey’s largest city, Istanbul, to Isparta in the center of the country.
