U.S. presidential candidate Barak Obama has rejected an unsolicited endorsement by Louis Farrakhan and responded with a statement of support for Israel. Speaking at a candidates’, Barak said he had been "very clear in my denunciation of [Farrakhan’s] anti-Semitic comments." The Democratic frontrunner said he had been "a stalwart friend of Israel," and that the Jewish state’s "security is sacrosanct." During his campaign, Obama has been the target of negative email campaigns targeting the Jewish community.
