Twelve Qassam rockets fired into Israel since the start of the cease-fire on Sunday is pushing the envelope, according to Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. An Olmert spokesman said on Wednesday that the prime minister told ambassadors from European Union nations that while Israel had shown restraint until now, if Qassam firings continued to break the truce, the Jewish state would respond in kind. A rocket landed in the cemetery of the town of Sderot on Tuesday, causing no injuries. Responsibiliity was claimed by the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, an arm of Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud ‘Abbas’ Fatah faction.
