The office of Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has denied a report in the German magazine Focus, which suggests Olmert said that Iran’s nuclear facilities could be destroyed. A battery of 1,000 Tomahawk cruise missiles during a 10-day period would be sufficient, Olmert supposedly told a reporter from the magazine. Olmert’s office denied he made such comments and said the conversation was meant to be a background briefing not for publication.
