In a statement released Wednesday, ECP officials expressed the belief that international participation would “add a valuable dimension” to the election process, enhancing its transparency and credibility.

The commission assured that all requisite facilities would be provided to allow international observers to perform their duties effectively and independently. “The Election Commission of Pakistan has an open door policy for accreditation of any national and international observer,” the statement said. The ECP also advised international attendees to adhere to advisories issued by Pakistan’s Foreign and Interior ministries.
