Palestinian Bank Car Robbed in Shoot-em-Up Style; $270,000 Taken

In an attack worthy of the big screen, thieves got away with about $270,000 (1 million shekels) from a bank’s car carrying deposit money in the West Bank on Sunday morning. The Palestinian Ma’an news agency reported that masked gunmen ambushed and chased the bank vehicle in the Ras Al-Jura neighborhood of Hebron, shooting out the windshield and tires, and subsequently making off with the cash. Palestinian authorities claim they have identified the vehicle.
