The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics said on Tuesday that there are 10.9 million Palestinians world wide, 4 million of whom reside in the West Bank (2.5 million) and Gaza Strip (1.5 million). The West Bank figure includes residents of east Jerusalem. 3.24 million Palestinians live in Jordan; 1.78 in other Arab countries; and 618,000 in non-Arab nations. The Bureau also reported a decline in the Palestinian fertility rate.
