Palestinian Governor of Jerusalem Adnan Ghaith was arrested by Israeli police on Saturday night, charged with cooperating with Palestinian Security Services. The case at hand relates to an east Jerusalem resident who was sought by the Palestinians for assisting in the sale of property to Israeli Jews. Ghaith was ordered three weeks ago to remain in Jerusalem and to not enter the West Bank. Then, on Saturday, he became only the second person arrested on an Oslo Accords-based law established in 1993 that prohibits cooperation with the Palestinian Security Services.
