A Palestinian opened fire and threw a hand grenade at lines of people trying to leave Gaza, enter Israel and then move on to West Bank on Monday evening. At least one person was killed and reports suggest anywhere upwards of 15 were wounded. It is thought the gunman was a member of the Palestinian Resistance Committees, which is supportive of Hamas. Many of those trying to flee Gaza are aligned with Fatah, which lost control of Gaza to Hamas last week.
