Palestinian Stabs Four Israelis on Busy Tel Aviv Street

An 18-year old Palestinian was arrested on Sunday after stabbing four Israelis on the streets of Tel Aviv. The attack began in a seaside hotel and continued outside onto the Tel Aviv promenade. The four victims were hospitalized, but none appeared to be in life-threatening condition. The assailant was being questioned, but police did characterize his act as one terrorism. Since the first knife attack in October 2015, there have been hundreds of assaults by what some call “lone wolves,” but many security officials believe that the spate of attacks is much more coordinated by terrorist organizations than is let on. Israeli police and security personnel have killed some 261 in the act of attempting to kill someone. 41 Israelis and 2 Americans have been killed in the attacks. The wave of terror had for some time waned, but is again escalating in recent days.
