Palestinian “terror-kites” successfully ignited seven fires in Israeli communities located next to the Gaza Strip on Wednesday. Although officials reported that fire fighters were able to put out the fires, it was not without what was described as “significant” damage to property and agriculture. Farmers in the area have taken a page from the Palestinian reliance on the International Criminal Court at The Hague and are filing charges against Hamas there. Thousands of acres have been destroyed by hundreds of kites and balloons launched into Israel from inside the Gaza Strip. The children’s’ toy has proven to be one of the most effective weapons used against Israel, thwarting one of the world’s great armies.
