As final preparations for Pope Francis’s May 24-26 visit to the Holy Land are being made, the Vatican announced the inclusion of a rabbi and an Islamic leader in his official entourage. Rabbi Abraham Skorka and Omar Abboud, a leader of Buenos Aires’s Muslim community, are colleagues of the Pope from his years in Argentina. The Pope will visit Israel, Jordan and the West Bank.
