The ceasefire between Israel and the Hamas terrorist organization was again interrupted on Friday when a rocket was fired into the Eshkol Regional Council at around 11pm. Although there was no damage or injuries reported, keeping with Israel’s policy of retaliation, fighter jets took to the skies and leveled a post belonging to late Friday night. Earlier, a 16-year old Palestinian boy was shot in the stomach as he participated in a demonstration and four others people were wounded. The Palestinians had agreed to suspend their weekly “March of Return” for the third consecutive week in response to Israel’s request to halt the protests while negotiations were under way. Israel’s military said the shootings would be investigated. Defense Minister Naftali Bennett surprised many when he agreed to sending money to the Gaza Strip as long as funds are not from Israeli sources.
