Sara Netanyahu’s Breach-of-Trust Trial to Begin October 7

The spectacle of Israel’s prime minister’s wife on trial for fraud and breach of the public trust is generating vast interest across the globe. Most surmise that much of the curiosity stems from Sara Netanyahu’s long history of scrapping with media and public watchdogs who are now exacting some form of revenge. The PM’s wife is said to have doctored documents relative to the running of the official Prime Minister’s Residence in addition to the major wrong-doing, ordering take-out food while there was a chef on staff. In her defense, some are asserting that socialist labor laws make it overly difficult for the Netanyahus to fire the kitchen crew whose food they found to be unacceptable. Had there have been no chef on staff, none of her alleged machinations would have been actionable. The trial is set for October 7.
