A new report by the U.S. General Accounting Office says Saudi Arabia has improved its efforts to fight terror but still needs to work on ways to stop the funding of terrorist organizations worldwide by Saudi nationals. The U.S. believes Saudi money is bankrolling terror groups including Al-Qa’ida. Saudi was found to be strong in its counter-terror operations including the arrest and prosecution of terror suspects. Yemen was cited in the report as the emerging base for anti-U.S. terror operations. Yemen is receiving assistance from the Saudis in developing its counter-terrorism programs.
