Saudi Arabia’s King Salman appointed his 31-year-old son Mohammed Bin Salman as crown prince, placing him first in line to the throne. Bin Salman replaces Prince Mohammed bin Nayef, who had been in charge of overseeing security in the Kingdom, and who was well-known and well-liked in Washington.
