Saudi King Chides Britain for Not Doing Enough to Fight Terror

Saudi Arabian King Abdullah has accused the British of not doing enough to fight terror. In an interview with the BBC in advance of a trip to the United Kingdom, Abdullah charged that had Britain acted on information the Saudis supplied, the 2005 London bombings could have been averted. He told his interviewer that, "We sent information to Great Britain before the terrorist attacks in Britain, but, unfortunately, no action was taken. And it may have been able to maybe avert the tragedy." The British vehemently deny Abdullah’s charges. The king arrives in London on Monday for the first state visit by a Saudi in 20 years.
