Employment opportunities for Saudi women continue to open with a call by the Public Prosecution (state prosecutor’s) office for female investigators. The position of investigative officer awaits candidates deemed to be of good conduct, “qualified for the position,” and “have a relevant university degree with no less than a C grade.” If those somewhat subjective criteria are met, the next step will be physical and psychological testing. Saudi investigators are assigned specific tasks ranging from investigations to giving testimony in court, working in prisons performing investigations of prisoner complaints, overseeing prisoner releases and executive assignments. The application process runs until March 3.
