Senator Warren, Apparently Planning a White House Run, Visits Israel, Palestinian Areas

Those who believe that a run for the US Presidency starts on the snow-covered streets of New Hampshire fail to notice how much wear-and-tear on the ancient stone streets of Jerusalem results from American White House Wannabes…  The latest to visit is Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, often mentioned as a potential 2016 candidate, who arrived over the weekend. In addition to meeting with the usual leaders on both the Israeli and Palestinian sides, Warren has meetings scheduled with United Nations agencies UNRWA and the UN Human Rights Council, both of which figure prominently in a current investigation of war crime allegations against Israel. During the 50-day war last summer, Warren was vocal about Israel’s right to self-defense and her support for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
