Al-Arabiyya Television is reporting that senior Islamic State commaders were killed in intensive coalition-led air strikes in Iraq Thursday. It is not clear if ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was injured, but he was reportedly en route to the area. The report said that the air strikes targeted five areas held by Islamic State and were based on accurate intelligence. Al Arabiyya reported that dozens of members of Islamic State were killed in the strikes, while Reuters quoted hospital sources that at least 17 were killed.
