South America‘s four-nation trade bloc is poised to sign a free-trade agreement with Israel. It will be the first such pact for Mercosur, which is comprised of Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay. While Israel has four existing agreements, this marks its first in South America. Experts caution against expecting any dramatic increase in the modest trading between Israel and South America.
