It appears that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has succeeded in convincing the Saudis to extradite 18 suspects who have been arrested in Saudi Arabia in the killing of Jamal Khashaggi. Erdogan has been demanding that the group of suspects be tried in Turkey, the location of the Saudi Consulate where the missing journalist is believed to have been killed after writing criticisms of the kingdom. Speaking to the parliament on Tuesday, Erdogan also demanded that Saudi officials reveal the identities of the officials who dispatched the hit teams to Turkey where Khashaggi was killed in the Consulate and his body secreted from the building.
