U.S. Troops Target of Afghan Car Bomb

American troops were the target of a car bomb that exploded in Afghanistan‘s capital on Tuesday morning. Two Afghani civilians died in the blast and others were wounded. Officials said the obvious target of the explosive device was a convoy of U.S. soldiers passing by an Afghani Defense Ministry building in Kabul. The building is near a number of foreign embassies. More than 50 people have been killed in five car bombings in Kabul in the past two months.
