The US and British coalition conducted two airstrikes on Yemen’s southwestern province of Taiz late Tuesday, according to Houthi-run al-Masirah TV. The coalition has not yet confirmed these attacks, and there were no immediate reports of casualties.

In a related development, the US Central Command announced on Tuesday that it had destroyed a Houthi drone and two anti-ship ballistic missiles launched from Yemen over the Red Sea within the past 24 hours.
The Houthis have been targeting ships in the Red Sea since last November as an expression of solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza. In response, the US-British naval coalition has been carrying out airstrikes and missile attacks on Houthi targets since January.
