Turkish armored vehicles joined up with American forces for a second joint patrol of northeastern Syria on Tuesday. It’s part of an agreement to create a safe-zone where the YPG – the Syrian Kurdish People’s Protection Units – is based. The fear is that the Turkish army will jump at a chance to obliterate the YPG based on numerous threats voiced by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
